DAIMATLAND is a project born in 2010 by the union of AimA and DettY.

AimA (Elements: Moon, Silver, Water) is a professional photographer, she works in various expressive fields: poetry, photography, music and multimedia and she takes part of many musical projects.(Les Jumeaux Discordants, Fehu, Daimatland and various cooperations)
Her Poetry is hermetic, a few verses, and rich in oxymoron, typical of the wandering of such Souls that are always ready to reopen the whole question. Suddenly, the meeting with Angelo Tonelli made her to evolve in a further linguistic research more mystical and hermetic.This spiritual passage coincided with her art studies about cinema (expecially the Scandinavian Cinema) and its implications with metaphisical art and portrait. This research (that’s a work in progress –  thanks of the constant support coming from Prof. Loretta Guerrini) clearly influenced her photographic research.

DettY (Elements: Sun, Gold, Fire) is a professional musician, she began her musical studies at a very young age with the cello, piano, organ and chamber music classes in Hungary proceeding later to her final degree at the famous academy “Franz Liszt” in Budapest.
She has participated in many international competitions with prestigious recognition both in Italy and abroad. She has an intense performing career in many ensembles and chamber groups.Daimatland presupposes a strong interaction between poetry, image,music, nature, fantasy and visions. Daimatland is the  trait d’union between dream and reality thanks of sounds,poems and voices that recall an esoteric and ancient world.

Poems are very short (they’re irregular haiku) and they want to give an image with a mystical message of Nature and Spirit.
Sounds are magic and mystical: cello, tibetan bells and many particular instruments.
Daimatland is our secret land to share with you.
